Terms of Use
Praxis by Brelstone · Last updated April 2026
By accessing or using Praxis (the "platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Brelstone reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of the platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email.
Praxis is designed for Australian counsellors, psychotherapists, social workers, and allied health practitioners. Some tools (Brief and Prose) are available to unregistered visitors on a limited-use basis. All tools are available in full to registered account holders.
You may not use the platform if you are under 18 years of age or if you are prohibited from doing so under applicable law.
By using Praxis, you agree to:
Brief is a productivity and drafting tool. It is not a clinical decision support system, a medical device, or a substitute for professional clinical judgement. Brief outputs are generated by an AI model based on the notes you provide and are intended as a starting point for review and editing — not as final documents.
Brelstone makes no representation that Brief outputs are accurate, complete, clinically appropriate, or suitable for any specific regulatory, audit, or Medicare compliance purpose. You must review every output before use. Responsibility for the accuracy and appropriateness of any document submitted to a client, a GP, the NDIS, Medicare, a supervisor, or any other party rests solely with you.
Brief is built around Australian clinical documentation conventions, including NDIS Progress Note framing, MHTP letter structure, and SOAP and DAP formats. These conventions are implemented in good faith based on publicly available guidance. They have not been formally endorsed by NDIS, Medicare, or any professional body, and should not be represented as such.
Prose generates social media and practice content based on topics and context you provide. All content must be reviewed before publication. You are responsible for ensuring that any content you publish complies with your professional obligations, including obligations around advertising, testimonials, and health claims under Australian Consumer Law and any applicable professional code of conduct.
Porch enables you to embed a chat widget on your practice website. The widget responds to visitor enquiries based solely on the information you have provided in your Porch configuration. You are responsible for the accuracy, completeness, and currency of that configuration, including services offered, fees, availability, and booking information.
Brelstone is not liable for any loss, harm, or reliance by a website visitor arising from inaccurate, outdated, or incomplete information in your Porch configuration. It is your responsibility to keep your configuration up to date.
Porch is not a clinical tool and must not be represented to website visitors as providing clinical advice, assessment, or treatment. The widget is configured to redirect crisis situations to Australian emergency and support services. You must not modify your configuration in a way that would disable or circumvent that behaviour.
Lore allows you to upload documents and ask questions grounded in those documents. You agree not to upload any document that contains identifiable client information, including client names, dates of birth, contact details, or clinical records. Lore is designed for clinical reference materials, frameworks, and professional resources — not for client records or files.
Brelstone reserves the right to delete documents that are found or reported to contain identifiable client information, without notice. Brelstone is not liable for any breach of your professional confidentiality obligations arising from your misuse of Lore.
Lore answers are grounded in your uploaded documents and should be verified against the source material before clinical or professional reliance.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Brelstone, its directors, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal costs) arising from:

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any feature of the platform at any time. We will provide reasonable notice of material changes where practicable.
To the maximum extent permitted by Australian law, Brelstone is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of income, or damage arising from reliance on AI-generated content.
Our total liability for any claim related to the platform shall not exceed the greater of (a) the total fees paid by you to Brelstone in the three months preceding the claim, or (b) AUD $50. During any period in which the platform is provided free of charge, our maximum liability is AUD $50.
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law, including non-excludable consumer guarantees.
